On August 12, the Art Salon Activity themed "Artistic Creation in Free Trade Zone, Talents Gather in Paintings" was held in the Youth Talent Park of Qingdao Free Trade Zone. Nine international students from our university, who come from countries including France, Pakistan, Indonesia, Nepal, Morocco, Malawi, and Chad, participated in the activity.

At the beginning of the activity, a professional lecturer explained the origin and development of the creation form "texture painting" of this time, and introduced in detail the selection of painting materials, the use of painting techniques, and the creation of painting concepts. Under the guidance of the teacher, international students created paintings inspired by iconic elements such as the arch bridge in Qingdao Free Trade Zone, the logo of Sino-German Ecopark, and the logo of Youth Talent Park. Through their application of painting materials and techniques, international students displayed their personal artistic styles in their works.

This activity, through the form of artistic creation, not only enhances international students' appreciation andcreative abilities in culture and art, but also fosters their sense of identity and cohesion towards the zone, helping Qingdao Free Trade Zone to develop into a hub fortalent agglomeration and active innovation.
