The SDUST Track and Field Events 2017 was held from May 16 to 18. Yuan Junping, Secretary of Party Committee of SDUST, Ren Tingqi, President of SDUST, and other senior officials attended the opening ceremony which was presided over by Liu Peijin, Head of the SDUST Labor Union.

    Zeng Qingliang, Vice President of SDUST, addressed the opening ceremony. He said that sports activities, as a way of improving the physical health of faculty members and students, are significant to the development of academic activities of a university. He hoped that all players could respect the fine tradition of SDUST and make contributions to the success of this year’s sports event.

    After three days’ of exciting and intense competitions, the track and field events came to an end on May 18. Thanks to the outstanding performance of international students, the College of International Exchange won the award of Excellent Sportsmanship together with other seven colleges.
