Fire Drill Organized by College of International Exchange

A fire drill was organized by the College of International Exchange at 4 PM, 7th July on campus. More than 40 people participated in the drill, including international students, foreign teachers, and faculties from the College.

The fire drill was intended to improve the safety management in the College, and to teach people what they must do in order to escape safely from a fire in a building. All participants in the fire practice were taught the principles of fire extinguishers and given instructions on the use of them.

“ Organizing a fire drill is significant, as it helps to increase our knowledge of fire fighting, more importantly, it offers us basic skills of self-protecting in case of fire,” said Fan Zhijian, vice dean of the College. “And we are thinking of organizing fire drills on a more regular basis,” he added.
