On December 29, Officer Jin Hao and Officer Wu Lidong from Qingdao Police Departments were invited by the College to give lectures on anti-drug and laws and regulations of residence in China. Over 100 international students and teachers attended the lectures.

Officer Jin first talked about the importance of following Chinese laws and regulations for foreign people in China, as well as the importance of visa validity and residence permit.

Officer Wu introduced students to knowledges about narcotic drugs and their damages to people's body and mind. He hopes that young people, especially students stay away from drugs and report cases of drug abuse to universities and police departments.

The two lectures greatly increased students' understanding of Chinese laws on residence and fighting against narcotic drugs, and helped students to protect themselves from drugs.
