With the approaching of the Chinese traditional festival- the Dragon Boat Festival,  the International Exchange College organized our overseas students and property staffs to celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival in the International Student Activity Room on June 6th. More than 20 overseas students learned to make zongzi (traditional Chinese food made from glutinous rice in the Dragon Boat Festival) with the help of Chinese teachers and students to celebrate the coming festival.

This is the first time for almost all overseas students to make zongzi by themselves. Under the guidance of the aunts and the Chinese students, they carefully learn to make zongzi with great interest.They got the praises from the aunts in dinning halls for their focused attitude and great cooperation.

Overseas students thought that the zongzi were delicious. What’s more, they felt exciting and happy to participate in such Chinese traditional festival activities, which arouse their great interest in Chinese traditional culture.
