CIE recently launched a short-term Chinese language and culture program for State Polytechnic of Malang (POLINEMA), Indonesia. 147 POLINEMA students signed in for the program which will last for two months. The program with five parallel classes is given live on the line, facilitated with excellent lecturers. To safeguard the best teaching effect of the program, CIE organized in advance several seminars, discussing lecture plans and contents arrangements based on the particular characters of Indonesian students. POLINEMA also spent great efforts for this program, making extensive publication among the students and processing the submitted data. Both SDUST and POLINEMA worked hard for this program, overcoming the inconvenience caused by the pandemic. The program marks the debut of a new cooperation, which will surely strengthen the partnership and promote exchanges between both parties.
POLINEMA, founded in 1979, with an A Accreditation by the Indonesian government, is a comprehensive higher education institution with engineering as the advantage. SDUST and POLINEMA signed the cooperative agreement in 2019, starting the international cooperation and exchange relationship. Under the agreement, a "2+2" double degree joint education program for undergraduates started in the field of Mechatronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering and Chemical Engineering and Technology. Presently there are 14 program students studying at SDUST and they will graduate this year.
