On the morning of the first day, students paid a visit to the headquarter of Haier Group, a world renowed brand for domestic appliances, where they learnt the history of Haier, enterprise culture, and cutting-edge technologies. In the afternoon, our international students experienced a wide range of exciting things at the West Coast Planning Museum, such as the planning on underwater world, future city through 4D screen, 180° circular-screen and interactive sensors, etc. Later that day was a tour in the West Coast Ecological Sightseeing Park, where students were introduced to the ecological development of the local area.
The second day was spent in Haiqing, a small and picturesque town located in the suburb of Qingdao. Tea-leaf picking and drone filming were organized there. In addition to leaf picking in the garden, students were offered the opportunity to experience tea ceremony and to observe tea processing in the factory.
